We are delighted to announce that Dr Ethie Kong, Chair of NHS Brent Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), recently won the Mulan Foundation Network’s Award for healthcare and tackling inequalities. The event took place on Monday 11 December 2017 at The Oriental Club, 11 Stratford Place.
The Mulan Foundation Network recognises the achievements of Chinese women in the UK and elsewhere. It aims to build up global network of top and successful Chinese women and young Chinese women on the way up for networking, mentoring and to support each other and contribute to the wider community.
As well as the presentation of the awards, there was also a charity auction and raffle, and musical entertainment from highly talented Chinese musicians.
Dr Ethie Kong said:
“Chinese women are making a fantastic contribution to British society across a broad range of fields. I am pleased that the Mulan Foundation Network has recognised my role in helping to improve health services and outcomes for local residents in Brent.”
“Our CCG has a clear vision of delivering better care closer to people’s homes and we are working in partnership with our patients, members and partners to deliver this.”
