Share your views on improving services for wheelchair users

Wheelchair users across North West London came together at an event on Wednesday 18 March to share views on how wheelchair services can be improved.

Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in Brent, Barnet, Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, and Hounslow are working together to make the service better for users.

More than 60 people attended the event, where they heard from Dr Charlotte O’Doherty, clinical lead on the programme to redesign wheelchair services, about why the CCGs want to improve the service.

Dr O'Doherty said: “The information we receive by listening to feedback from individual service users is the vital starting point for our wheelchair service redesign.

“Understanding what the service user's vision is for a successful future service will be the foundation of our work to commission a more effective service for North West London.
