Our Constitution

Our Constitution sets out a clear governance structure demonstrating appropriate arrangements to exercise our functions effectively, efficiently, economically and in accordance with accepted good governance principles as your local Statutory Health Commissioner.

Brent Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is committed to improving the health of patients and our aim is to commission services that offer both high quality experiences of services and value for money.

We endeavour to build upon the trust that residents have put in us and strive to be a commissioning organisation that they can be proud of.

We have developed our vision for healthcare in the Brent area through collaboration with our clinical GP member practices, our patients and service users, key local partners and stakeholders.

Our aim is to secure high quality healthcare across the continuum of care which is provided by the right clinician, at the right time and in the most appropriate place.

This constitution was updated in late 2018 and approved by NHS England in December 2018. Approval letter can be found here. Previous versions of the constitution are available on request.
